1991 National Summer School, workshop/masterclass

The Third National Summer School in Computer Aided Art, Design and Manufacture (CAADM) for artists, craftworkers and designers was held at the Advanced Technology Education Centre, Regency College of TAFE for four weeks during January 1991.

An expedition through the airwaves, Sound

ANAT took to the airwaves, broadcasting live from techno radio station, Radio Dex 96.9FM in Sydney.

Code Red, workshop/masterclass

CODE RED continued an ongoing international artists project which ANAT began in 1995 with Virogenesist, curated by Francesca da Rimini.

FOLDBACK @ ISEA98, Talk

ANAT were invited to present the FOLDBACK website as part of  ISEA98 - Terror, the Manchester manifestation of the ISEA98 Symposium.

SALA Moving Image Project, Exhibition

The SALA Moving Image Project was an annual exhibition of new works by South Australian Visual Artists who work with the Moving Image. Artists exhibited works in a variety of public arenas, including Street Projections, Shop Front Installation, Cinema Screenings, Video Wall Exhibition, Internet Streaming and Live Performance. Tandanya + ANAT New Media Partnership

ANAT and Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute (Adelaide) have joined forces to develop a new media arts partnership in 2002.

2001 October  
TILT, workshop/masterclass

In October 2001, ANAT partnered with dLux Media Arts, Imperial Slacks, House of Laudanum and Metro Screen to present TILT (Trans-global Independent Lateral Tactics), a dynamic conference and workshop event on tactical media which was held at various locations around Sydney.

2005 December  
pixel.play + the-phone-book Masterclass, workshop/masterclass

As part of the pixel.play program a train-the-trainer master class was held in December 05 with international artist group the-phone-book ltd.

1988 Adelaide Festival Exhibitions, Exhibition

In February/March 1988, ANAT assisted with the organisation of three technology-related exhibitions mounted as part of the Visual Arts Program of the 1988 Adelaide Festival.

Artists Thinking About Science, Exhibition

The FOLDBACK event, ANAT's contribution to the Telstra Adelaide Festival, provided ANAT with a remarkable forum to pay tribute to some of the artists and personalities who have contributed so vividly to ANAT's identity.

Synapse 5 Residencies, Residency

Delivered in partnership with the Australia Council for the Arts, the Synapse Residencies place Australian artists into science and research settings to pursue collaborative projects with benefits accruing to both the resident and the host organisation.

Douglas Kahn National Lecture Tour, Talk

Throughout October and November 2009 Douglas Kahn toured Australia as part of ANAT's Embracing Sound program in partnership with the Art Monthly Australia (AMA)'s Occasional Lecture Series.

Arts Victoria Arts Innovation Residency, Residency

ANAT, in partnership with Arts Victoria’s Arts Innovation program delivered three AIR residencies for artists within science/research settings.

Portable Worlds 2nd Edition, Exhibition

Portable Worlds 2nd Edition toured nationally between 2008 - 2009, bringing exhibition and workshop programs to urban and regional Australia.  Portable Worlds 2nd Edition Exhibition is touring Regional South Australia in 2010/2011.

BORDERPANIC 2002, Exhibition

BORDERPANIC was a project in September 2002, held in Sydney, that brought together artists, media makers and thinkers who are questioning the world's geopolitical and metaphorical borders.

Media State, Hard Copy and Mobile Journeys, Festival
