The 19th International Symposium on Electronic Art presented by Australian Network for Art and Technology (ANAT) and supported by Destination NSW to align with Vivid Sydney showcased the best media artworks and future-focused ideas from Australia and around the world at venues across greater Sydney.

ANAT initiated an Australian tour for Peter Richards during 1993.

pixel.play, workshop/masterclass

Presented by ANAT, pixel.play was a youth digital media education program,which presented workshops that develop creative and digital literacy skills in which young artists make short screen works (animations/films /images) for their mobile phone.

Synapse 2 Residencies, Residency

In its second year of managing the residencies, ANAT called for expressions of interest from science organisations within Australia interested in hosting an artist for a three-month period. The call then went out for artists to apply to be resident within the selected host organisations.
