AmpErase is a collection of DJ based audio (+/- video) works, which explores the possibilities, and implications of a molecular genetic approach to music making. By processing the DJ output in realtime through a series of specifically programmed virtual turntables, we introduce a system of exponential rearticulation/ hypermutation of sound.
